Project Description

In this Airline Ticket Booking System in Python, we have covered all main aspects like adding new flight, customer, company or city. And also manage them. Keeping track of all their records like flight schedule, and many others things.

Here we have 2 types of users: admin, and Employee. All have different access privileges i.e. each module is not for every user. Some modules are kept hidden from particular user. Like Employee can’t access company, class, city data and many other things.

Modules of Airline Ticket Booking System

• City Module: In this module we will keep record of all cities and their code. Operation we can perform on this module are save, update and delete. We can also view all cities’ information at once.
• Customer Module: In this module we will keep record of all customers and their details. Operation we can perform on this module are save, update and delete. We can also view all customer’s information at once.
• Airports Module: In this we manage all airports that comes under one of available city. Like city module here we can also update and delete any old airport and introduce new one.
• Company Module: In this module we will keep record of all company. Operation we can perform on this module are save, update and delete. We can also view all company’s information at once.

• Flight Module: User can add new flight here also give its arrival/ departure time, day, cost everything. You can also update and delete old flight.
• View All Flights: User can view all flight here by company.
• Booking New Ticket module: User can add booking for any flight who is available according to requirements of customer. Here calculation of all fare and tax is automatic.
• Cancel/View Old Ticket: User can view and get printout of old booking. If customer want to cancel old booking we can also cancel booking, but cancellation can be done before traveling date. Also different Amount of fare will be refunded according to remaining days.
• Refund Module: How much refund will be given on how many remaining days is modified here.
• Tax Module: In this module we will keep record of all tax, their amount and type. Operation we can perform on this module are save, update and delete. We can also view all tax’s information at once.
• View All Booking: User can also view all booking or cancelled ticked on any particular date or of any particular flight.
• Change Password: Any Logged in user can change his/her password. For checking authentication we ask for original password again.
• Manage User: User can add new users (admins, cashier and clerk). Also update/ delete old ones.
