Stock Management System Project in java with source code

This is Stock Management System project Software in Java with database connectivity in MySQL that will manage all the stock of a company. We can purchase, sell and view the position of the stock. We can make bills for different customers.

Modules in the Inventory Management System in java:-

• Stock Module

  • Add Company:- We can add companies for which we are selling our products. It is like adding categories for our products. similarly, we added Samsung as Company.
  • Add Sub Category:-
    Under the company or category, we can add sub-categories. Same as under Samsung, we can add Refrigerators similarly, TV, etc.
  • Add Product:-
    We can add inventory under a particular company and sub-category. We can give the name of inventory, price, quantity.
    Like here we can Samsung Double Door Refrigerator with Model Number under company Samsung, similarly subcategory as Refrigerator.
  • View Products:-
    We can see a list of stock by category/company.
  • Update Products:-
    In case any change is required in the product information, we can search and update the stock from this module. Stock name, its company, size or subcategory, price, quantity can be changed from here.
  • Bill:- We can generate bills by entering billing, date, dealer name, phone, company, type similarly, inventory name, and then adding inventory/product to the list. Then we can generate bills by pressing calculate bills and then we can save the bill.
  • View Bill:-
    We can see the bill for a particular date.
• Employee Module:- In this, we can add employees working in our organization. Employe can add their details like name, post, phone number, gender, date of birth similarly, address and save it.
  We can also edit the information later on also.
• Employee Organisation:- We also get to see the list of employees working in our organization. Users can also search for employees by post afterward.
• Create Manager Account:- We can create a manager account and giving him a username and password for login.
  The manager can create an employee login where employees will have fewer rights as compared to managers.
  Employees can not create more employee logins and add employees, etc.
• Update Manager Account:- We can update the manager account by changing the name and password for the employee.

Centralized Data:-In the existing system, data records are kept under a file maintenance system due to this system the placement of the data is not in one place. But in the new system, every record is maintain on a computer, which leads to the centralization of data.

As in the proposed system data is maintain on the computers so inconsistency does not occur which will never lead to problems like duplication of data.
Easy to Access:-As compared to an existing system, in a new system the users can easily and efficiently access the information from the computer.

Security:- Only authorize user can access data and Admin and employees has different permission. So data can’t be manipulate.
